The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica ordered the detention of SB (72) for up to 27 hours on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
He was arrested by the Podgorica police on suspicion of leaving a hand grenade near the bridge on Franca Rozmana Street in Podgorica.
"The suspect was holding an explosive device, a hand grenade that was missing a safety fuse, which he hid under the bridge in Masline, and which was subsequently destroyed by authorized officers of the Police Directorate," the Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office said.
