At around 16 p.m., officers from the Tuzi Police Station detained a man who is believed to have forcibly kissed two girls in a neighborhood near the "25. maj" High School in Tuzi, as reported by locals.
This was announced to "Vijesti" by a resident of the Tuzi settlement, Mirza Tuzović, who is currently with the girls' parents at the Podgorica Security Department, to officially report to the inspectors what happened during the day.
"We have detained an Albanian citizen. That part of the settlement is not covered by cameras. All information is currently being collected," said a police source to "Vijesti".
One of the girls is twelve and the other is four.
Tuzović said that everything happened on street number 17 in Tuzi, shortly before 16 p.m. today, when an unknown man appeared in the neighborhood and allegedly kissed two girls who were playing in front of their family homes.
"The parents of a little girl also saw that this happened," Tuzović said.
He said that Tuzi has had a huge problem for years with strangers, especially day laborers, who come to the town because of the proximity of the market.
"This is a part of the settlement where there is a high school, a kindergarten, an elementary school, and a market. A large number of people who are not from our place circulate every day. A special problem for us is the lack of police officers at the Tuzi Police Station, because there are at most two of them on shift. This is insufficient for a settlement of this size, which is why we are very concerned about the safety of our children, especially. It often happens that when we go to report something, there is no police officer at the station, and we are greeted by a sign on the door: 'We are in the field'," said Tuzović.
