The child's body was found in the willows at the confluence of the Cijevna and Morača rivers above the Vukovar Bridge, "Vijesti" was told unofficially.
The police were notified that a body had been spotted in the water near the Vukovar Bridge in Zeta.
"Acting on a citizen's report that a lifeless body of a child was found in Zeta, under the Vukovar Bridge, police officers from the Podgorica Security Department went to the scene and conducted an investigation. It is suspected that the lifeless body found is that of a four-year-old minor, whose disappearance was reported on March 11," the Police Directorate announced.
On March 11, the family members reported the disappearance of I.Đ. (30) and her minor child to the Podgorica Security Department on duty.
The body found was sent to the KCCG for an autopsy.
The search for I.Đ.'s face is still ongoing.
