Police officers arrested Marko Raičević (39), a resident of Tivca, who is considered a person of operational interest, for committing violations under the Road Traffic Safety Law.
The Police Directorate said that as part of their intensified activities, their officers controlled and sanctioned three people, two of whom were operationally interesting, and that they confiscated one expensive vehicle.
Officers of the Security Department (SB) in Bar checked a person of operational interest, Martin Janković (28), from whom an expensive passenger motor vehicle, a Land Rover Defender with German license plates, was seized for further checks.
It is alleged that last night at around 22 pm near the Port of Kotor, police officers checked the driver, a person of operational interest MR from Tivat, who was driving an Audi SQ7.
The inspection reportedly determined that MR was driving the vehicle with an expired license.
The police added that after testing MR for the presence of psychoactive substances in his body, the presence of cocaine was determined, under the influence of which he was driving the vehicle.
"MR was arrested for committing violations under the Road Traffic Safety Act," the statement said.
As it is added, the misdemeanor judge imposed a fine of one thousand euros on MR and a four-month driving ban.
It is alleged that officers of the Kolašin Police Station, while taking measures and actions to prevent the commission of criminal offenses and misdemeanors, controlled MR (20) from Mojkovac.
It is added that at the time of the control, he was driving an Audi A4 with Swiss license plates.
"During a drug test, it was determined that MR was driving under the influence of marijuana, which is why he was arrested," the police said.
They said that the misdemeanor judge in Kolašin fined MR.
