After a hearing at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, MV was ordered to be detained for up to 72 hours, suspected of beating a Turkish citizen, a delivery man for the company "Glovo", after he had previously refused to pay for the food delivered to him.
The Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office announced that his detention was ordered due to reasonable suspicion that he, as an accomplice, committed the criminal offense of violent behavior, in conjunction with the criminal offense of serious bodily injury.
"On March 24, 2025, the suspect, together with another person, attacked Turkish citizen HB, a delivery man for the company 'G.', after he demanded payment for the food he had delivered. The injured party was punched and kicked in the head while lying on the asphalt, resulting in serious bodily injuries," said the Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office.
