Yesterday, officers of the Border Police Sector seized an Audi A3 car with Albanian license plates at the Sukobin border crossing, which was wanted by the NCB Interpol of France, the Police Directorate (PD) announced today.
"Officers of the Border Police Station in Ulcinj, yesterday at the Sukobin border crossing, upon entering Montenegro, carried out a vehicle and person control of ES (28) from Shkodra, who was driving an Audi A3 passenger vehicle with Albanian license plates. A check through the police's electronic records determined that an international search was issued for the vehicle in question by the NCB of Interpol France starting from 3.1.2025," the UP statement states.
The institution added that, upon the order of the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj, information was collected from ES on the circumstances of the incident and that the vehicle was seized for further checks.
