The Kolašin police arrested DE (21) from Rožaje after, as announced by the Police Directorate, testing determined that he was driving under the influence of cocaine and marijuana.
Criminal charges were filed against AS (23), also from Rožaje, who was the passenger in the car, and in whose possession marijuana was found.
"During the regional Alcohol and PAS actions, DE (21) from Rožaje was stopped in traffic. The test determined that DE was driving under the influence of cocaine and marijuana, after which he was arrested for committing a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act. The passenger in the vehicle was AS (23) from Rožaje, who was found to have marijuana in his passenger seat during a search. After conducting a criminal investigation, police officers filed a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against AS for a violation of the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse," the police announced.
The state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje was informed of the event, and on his order, officers from the Rožaje Security Department filed a criminal complaint against AS on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of facilitating the consumption of narcotic drugs.
