Police officers arrested VK (19) from Cetinje on suspicion that, during questioning at the prosecutor's office, he gave a false statement regarding a fight that took place in the Royal Capital on March 8th.
According to the police, during the hearing before the prosecutor of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje, VK gave a statement about an event he had no knowledge of, in order to finish his testimony as soon as possible and leave the prosecutor's office.
"Following the hearing, VK was remanded in custody," the statement said.
The police reminded that one person was seriously injured in a fight that took place in Cetinje on March 8th.
"Two of the five participants in the event were identified and AM (33), a person of operational interest, and MM (33), a member of an organized criminal group, were deprived of their liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of participating in a fight," the statement said.
It is added that MM is currently in custody.
