The president of the Civic Movement URA, Dritan Abazović, announced that the Basic Court in Ulcinj ruled that the lawsuit filed against him by former senior police official Zoran Lazović has no basis.
"I have just received the verdict of the Basic Court (dated April 5, 2025) in Ulcinj, based on Zoran Lazović's lawsuit against me. The court decided that the lawsuit has no basis. I am resisting the pressures of organized crime and will continue my fight - together with my colleagues - for a just, honest and different Montenegro. The documents are safe. The hand of justice will not stop. Let's move on - we are waiting for the next verdicts and trials," Abazović wrote on Facebook.
Before the Ulcinj court, there are six lawsuits filed by lawyer Zoran Piperović against Abazović as the legal representative of Lazović, businessman Ranko Ubović, his company "Bemax" and the former co-owner of that company, Aleksandar Mijajlović.
The lawsuits against Abazović, the legal representative of Ubović and Lazović, were filed "due to the fact that the prime minister repeatedly made a number of accusations against them, and among other things, that they planned his liquidation"...
