Miloš Medenica, son of the former President of the Supreme Court, Vesna Medenica, was taken from the Remand Prison to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office building this morning, where he was questioned about alleged threats made in the courtroom of the Higher Court to Bojan Popović.
According to the claims of special state prosecutors, Medenica formed a criminal organization of which Popović is also a member, and according to the report, he threatened him while he was presenting his defense.
"On 18.03.2025 at 08.30 a.m., before the High Court in Podgorica in the case with the business code Ks.br. 15/20, a main trial hearing was held before the panel of judges consisting of the president of the panel - judge Vesna Kovačević and the panel members - judges Simo Bulatović and Boris Bulatović. In that criminal proceeding, Miloš Medenica and the applicant of this application Bojan Popović were among the accused, and at the aforementioned hearing, the presentation of the defense by the accused was scheduled. During the presentation of the defense by the accused Bojan Popović, while the applicant was sitting behind the dock, the accused Miloš Medenica addressed him with the words '... you will cry again...', which words were recorded by the trial court panel in the minutes of the main trial, and which words caused Bojan Popović (the applicant) to feel fear and insecurity for his life and body, as well as for the life and body of his close relatives," it is written in the application filed by Popović The defense attorney, attorney Damir Lekić, filed a day later.
Popović's hearing before prosecutor Ivan Bojanić was also scheduled for today.
Popović, however, will not be heard today, because his representative requested that it be done another day.
