The trial was postponed to May 7th yesterday at the Higher Court in Podgorica. Radoje Zvicer, Slobodan Kašćelan, Milan Vujotic i Dragan Knežević for smuggling 743 kilograms of cocaine, seized in August 2020, in the Dutch port of Rotterdam.
Vijesti was informed that this was confirmed by the court and it was explained that this was done for procedural reasons, as a decision needs to be made on the proposal to merge that court proceeding with two indictments from the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT).
The prosecution accuses Zvicer of forming a chat group with Knežević, Kašćelan, and Milan Vujotić on the encrypted Sky app at the end of June 2020 and informing them that he had arranged in South America the purchase and overseas transport of 743 kilograms of cocaine from Ecuador to Europe, packaged in 1.080 packages of bananas.
The indictment states that he obtained the drugs at a price of 5.000 US dollars per kilogram.
According to the indictment, Zvicer also informed his associates that an ocean-going ship loaded with drugs, for the purchase of which they jointly provided 1.455.000 euros, would depart from Ecuador on July 17, 2020.
He also reports to them about the maritime routes of the ocean-going ship carrying the purchased cocaine, and the appearance of the cardboard packages containing the drugs and bananas.
Zvicer informs his associates via the "Sky" application that of the total quantity of cocaine, 45 kilograms belong to him, 25 to Vujotic, 20 to Knezevic, and 10 kilograms to Kašćelan and Božovic each.
As stated, he then informed the group members about the drug seizure, sending them two picture messages with photographs, one of which shows a newspaper article showing the appearance of the seized cocaine, and the other a newspaper article about the seizure of 743 kilograms of cocaine, which were published on Dutch portals.
