The Nikšić police, in cooperation with the Urban Planning and Construction Inspection, filed six criminal charges with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in that city - against residents of Kotor GR (43), JV (48), DP (44), Ž.R. (55) and Đ.R. (63) and Serbian citizen VM (67).
The reports were filed on suspicion that they committed criminal acts - building a building without a report and construction documentation.
"It is suspected that these individuals, in the period from 2021 to 2024, in the town of Grahovo in the municipality of Nikšić, as investors, began the construction of several residential buildings, without prior construction registration and documentation in accordance with the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of Buildings," the Police Directorate announced.
They say that the reports were filed as part of intensive planned activities to suppress criminal offenses in the field of environmental crime, as one of the national priorities in the fight against organized crime.
"Officers of the Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Urban Planning and Construction Inspection, continue their activities to detect and prosecute cases of illegal construction, with the aim of preventing economic and environmental crime and protecting the environment," the statement reads.
