We strongly condemn the threats made to journalist Jelena Jovanović, which are only proof that the thirty-year rule of criminal structures, through their octopuses and their arms, is still trying to sow the seeds of repression and single-mindedness, said Democratic People's Party (DNP) MP Jelena Kljajević.
She said that the DNP and the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" will always stand for free speech, "which will not cause consequences."
Kljajević added that freedom of speech must be an imperative to be pursued, and every form of violence must be condemned in the strictest terms.
"I am firmly convinced that the Administrative Inquiry Committee will shed light on all the atrocities, led by the murder of Duško Jovanović, that have happened to us in the past, and that their clarification will show once and for all that there are no untouchables and that as a society we are firmly determined to finally bring to justice not only the perpetrators but also the instigators of the dirtiest and most monstrous events from our past," said Kljajević.
"Vijesti" journalist Jelena Jovanović reported to the police a death threat she received yesterday from a woman who introduced herself as Milica Ćuk.
A woman, who introduced herself as Milica Ćuk, the sister of Serbian citizen Milovan Ćuk, who was expelled yesterday, called the "Vijesti" editorial office at around 18.20:XNUMX p.m., saying that "if anyone's head flies off because of the article, it will be the head of the author of the article."
The text was published earlier yesterday, and the author is Jelena Jovanović.
She reported the case to the police after a colleague from the portal reported the threat.
