The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje has opened a case in the case of alleged verbal death threats against environmental activist Almer Mekić by Sakib Čindrak from Bistrica, the prosecutor's office said in its response to "Vijesti".
"The investigation process is underway, after which the acting prosecutor will make a decision, which we will inform you about in due course," the Basic State Prosecutor's Office wrote in a short response.
The executive director of the non-governmental organization (NGO) "Euromost" from Bijelo Polje, Almer Mekić, filed a complaint with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office against Sakib Čindrak from Bistrica, due to alleged death threats.
