Serbian citizen DP (44) was sentenced to 15 days in prison for driving under the influence of drugs, the Budva Misdemeanor Court announced.
It is stated that the judge on duty, Magdalena Mijić, imposed the sentence after it was determined in an urgent procedure that DP, at around three o'clock in the morning today in Budva, was driving under the influence of two types of narcotics.
"The judge decided that the defendant be transferred to UIKS Spuž before the decision becomes final, because she found that there was a fear that he would thwart the execution of the sentence by remaining at large," the statement said.
It is added that, after serving his sentence, he will be banned from driving on the territory of Montenegro for four months.
