Stefan Timotijević (22) from Bijelo Polje was sentenced to one year in prison by the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
According to the indictment of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office, on an unspecified date until May 11, 2024, Timotijević illegally possessed hemp and cocaine in the house where he lives in Bijelo Polje.
It says that he kept the drugs hidden under a pillow in his bedroom, namely cannabis totaling 5,854 grams, packaged in seven PVC packages that he kept in a sock, as well as cocaine that he kept in a plastic package containing four aluminum foil packages, totaling 2,001 grams.
It is explained that the drugs were found by police officers from the Bijelo Polje Police Station on May 11th, during a search of the apartment and other premises.
Timotijević denied committing the crime he was charged with, claiming that he used it for personal use.
