The Herceg Novi police arrested MM (57) on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotics, the Police Directorate (PD) announced.
The statement added that a search of his home found drugs and money suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
"Acting on a court order, officers of the Herceg Novi Security Department searched the house of MM (57), a returnee in the commission of criminal offenses in the field of drug abuse, and on that occasion found several PVC packages with approximately 57 grams of a white powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug cocaine, as well as one PVC package containing a green plant substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana weighing approximately 28 grams, a scale for precise measurement, as well as money in the amount of 12.300 euros suspected of being acquired through criminal activity," the UP statement said.
The security institution said that the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident, and on whose orders MM was arrested and charged on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
