Branko Jovović (51) was arrested yesterday in the town of Studeno, in the municipality of Danilovgrad, on suspicion of having attempted to kill Mirko Vujačić in Bar in 2020, Vijesti learned.
The Police Department announced that Jovović was wanted.
"Officers of the Regional Security Center 'Centar' - Danilovgrad Security Department, while taking search measures and actions against the perpetrators of criminal offenses, found a person on the national wanted list yesterday in the town of Studeno, Danilovgrad Municipality. BJ (51), who is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of attempted murder in Bar in 2020 to the detriment of a person from Danilovgrad, was located and arrested," the statement states.
The UP said that BJ was remanded in custody by a decision of a judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, after which he was taken to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS).
