Turkish citizen AK (37) was arrested, and the Basic State Prosecutor ordered his detention for up to 72 hours, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of bribery.
"The suspect offered a bribe to an official - a police officer - during a traffic control to not perform an official action - a breathalyzer test and a drug test. An order for an investigation was issued against the suspect and a motion for detention was filed," the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor announced.

"Vijesti" announced yesterday that the Turkish citizen was arrested and taken to the police, and then brought to the Budva Court of Misdemeanors with a misdemeanor charge.
He was found guilty in an urgent procedure of four violations of the Traffic Safety Law and was given a single fine of 2.000 euros.
He was then taken into custody with a criminal complaint for bribery at the Kotor prosecutor's office.
