Montenegrin Interpol yesterday extradited Turkish citizen OC (34) to the judicial authorities of that country.
He was extradited based on a decision by the Ministry of Justice, and in Turkey he was sentenced to several prison terms - a total of eleven years, three months and fifteen days in prison.
"He was sentenced to these prison terms for the criminal offenses of fraud committed through banks or financial institutions, fraud and escape from serving a prison sentence," the Police Directorate announced.
Podgorica Interpol officers arrested OC on November 12th last year in the capital, acting on an international arrest warrant from Turkish Interpol.
He was then brought before the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, who ordered his extradition detention.
