After a hearing at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica, MI was ordered to be detained for up to 72 hours on suspicion that he hit a pedestrian while driving under the influence of cocaine and caused him life-threatening injuries.
He was detained on suspicion of committing a serious crime against the safety of public transport.
"The suspect was driving a vehicle under the influence of cocaine, and on that occasion his vehicle made contact with pedestrian MR, who suffered serious, life-threatening injuries as a result of the impact. This person has been convicted several times for criminal offenses against public traffic safety," said the Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office.
