The gun used to kill Semir Murić, according to the DNA analysis report from the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad, contains traces of Edmir Ramović.
This was said yesterday at the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje, in the continuation of the trial of Edmir Ramović, who is responsible for the murder of Murić out of reckless revenge and the wounding of police officer Refik Dedeić, in front of the Basic Court building in Rožaje, on December 21, 2021.
Ramović previously said that he did shoot in front of the courthouse out of fear, but that he did not want to kill anyone.
In an official note made after the murder of Semir Murić in the center of Rožaje, police officer Abdusamed Fejzić described seeing his colleagues Safet Sinanović, Daut Kalač, Safet Sinančević, Nedžad Kuč and Refik Dedeić holding a young man lying on the ground.
Police officer Refik Dedeić previously told the court that he sustained an injury to his left thigh when he was moving towards one of the three people lying in front of the courthouse.
Defense attorney Drago Konatar said that from this and several other official notes, and especially from the video footage presented in court - it is clear that Dedeić was in a kneeling position at the moment he was wounded, actively participating in the subduing of Ramović.
"Fejzić described that at the moment the second projectile (which wounded him) was fired, Dedeić was in a kneeling position, on the left side of Edmir Ramović's body, when he sustained a knee injury, and that he immediately stood up and knelt," Konatar noted.
Konatar pointed out that it is clear from this and other official records that Edmir Ramović did not get up from the ground, and that the second shot was fired at the moment when his face was pressed against the ground by the police officers, which further indicates that the allegation of the injured police officer Dedeić that he was injured at the moment when he was about 3-4 meters from the place where his colleagues were overpowering Ramović is not true.
"The fact that Ramović was pressed against the ground at the time is evidenced by the forensic examination, which confirmed that there were traces of dirt on the front of the body, as well as damage to the area around the right knee on the jeans, and the photo documentation also shows the dirty palms of his hands," said Konatar.
The indictment alleges that on December 21, 2021, at around 11 a.m., Edmir Ramović took the life of Semir Murić in front of the courthouse, out of ruthless revenge for an event that occurred a year earlier, in which the now deceased Semir Murić and several members of his family participated, against whom criminal proceedings are being conducted at the Basic Court in Rožaje for causing bodily harm to close family members of the defendant.
"In the manner in which immediately before the scheduled start of the trial in that case, and after a fight broke out on the corner of the building, the defendant Edmir ran up to Semir Murić while he was standing leaning on the fence and fired a projectile from a 'CZ' model 50 7,65 mm pistol, which he was holding and carrying in a public place without authorization, in the direction of the injured party, which hit him in the chest area and who died on the same day," the prosecutor's document states.
It further states that the defendant shot police officer Refik Dedeić in the left knee with a pistol, who had come to help three colleagues who had caught up with the defendant with the intention of subduing and disarming him.
Dedeić then suffered minor injuries.
