Ulcinj police have filed a criminal complaint against AA (28) from that city, on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
"Officers of the Regional Security Center 'South' - Security Department Ulcinj conducted planned repressive activities with the aim of finding and seizing firearms, ammunition and explosives in illegal possession of citizens. In the aforementioned activities, in accordance with the obtained court order, a search was carried out at one location in Ulcinj, and firearms and ammunition were seized on that occasion. During a search of the apartment and auxiliary facilities in the Kodre settlement, in the possession of person AA (28), a CZ M70 automatic rifle with seven rounds of ammunition and a Beretta pistol without appropriate documentation were found," the Police Directorate announced.
Criminal charges against AA were filed at the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj.
"In order to detect, suppress and prevent the commission of criminal acts and misdemeanors, protect citizens and raise the level of security, officers of the Regional Security Center 'South' will continue with planned, intensified preventive and repressive activities in all cities within their jurisdiction," the statement reads.
