The Žabljak police arrested BS (34) from that city and filed criminal charges against him on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - endangering security.
He was arrested on the orders of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Pljevlja, and was ordered to be detained for up to 72 hours.
"Officers of the Regional Security Center 'West' - Security Department Žabljak, acting on a report from an injured party that he and his emotional partner were threatened by a person known to them, holding a gun in his hand, took coordinated measures and actions and located and deprived BS (34) from Žabljak of his liberty. Police officers of the Security Department Žabljak quickly found and brought BS to the official premises in order to collect information on the above circumstances. Through criminal investigation, police officers came to the suspicion that the aforementioned person, on April 25.4.2025, XNUMX, in the late evening hours, in the town of Junča Do, driving his vehicle, approached the vehicle in which two injured parties were, and first threatened them from his vehicle, then took out a gun and with the weapon in his hands made serious insults and threats to life and limb, after which he left the scene," the Police Directorate announced.
The police searched the apartment and vehicle used by BS, who voluntarily surrendered his weapons - a "Češka zbrojevka" pistol, with an empty frame and one spare frame, 128 rounds of ammunition, as well as a valid firearms license in his name.
