Three Montenegrin citizens were arrested in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in a police operation aimed at suppressing and detecting criminal acts in the field of drug abuse, reports Sarajevo-based news outlet Kliks.
The media outlet states that four people have been arrested so far in the course of the operation, and that a large quantity of plant matter resembling marijuana has been seized.
During the searches, which were conducted at several locations in the Trebinje area, approximately 93 kilograms of marijuana were found hidden in sports bags in the trunk of a car.
Kliks states that the suspects tried to flee, but were quickly arrested by police.
All activities are carried out under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje.
