The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) will propose issuing arrest warrants for Nikola Dedaj from Bar and Darko Novaković from Podgorica, Vijesti has learned.
Both are suspected of being members of a criminal group whose organizer, according to the prosecution, is the owner of the "Televex" company, Vladimir Mijajlović, who evaded arrest yesterday.
Dedaj and Novaković are suspected of being connected to long-standing cigarette smuggling operations, which is why officers from the Special Police Department (SPO) searched their property yesterday.
The prosecution believes that this organized crime group operated from Montenegro for years, causing multi-million-dollar damage to the budget through tax evasion and other illegal financial flows.
Vijesti announced yesterday that the SDT will also seek an arrest warrant for Vladimir Mijajlović, who has been outside Montenegro since January.
Due to suspicion that they are members of the same criminal organization, SPO officers yesterday arrested Haris and Refik Kardović from Rožaje, as well as two men from Baran – Hajrula Jahović and Aldin Mlatišuma.

They are accused of being part of a smuggling ring that for years smuggled cigarettes from the Port of Bar, through Rožaje and further abroad.
Mlatišuma was already arrested in February 2021 on similar charges. His company "Catwood" was then included in a criminal complaint on suspicion that, from the beginning of October to November 3, 2020, he removed 4.443 packs of cigarettes from the customs office in the Free Zone of Bar, avoiding customs supervision measures.
Jahović is the owner of a road freight transport company.
