VL (50) from Plav is suspected of stealing a large quantity of alcoholic beverages from several catering establishments in Murin, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that the Plav police filed a special report against VL as a supplement to the criminal report previously filed against an unknown perpetrator.
"It is suspected that he committed the criminal offenses he is charged with in the previous period, in the town of Murino, in the late evening hours, outside of business hours, by forcibly opening catering establishments using physical force and a suitable means, breaking the glass surfaces on the windows of the establishments, after which he entered the establishments and stole a large quantity of alcoholic beverages from them," the statement states.
The UP added that the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Plav was informed of the incident, who qualified the acts as a criminal offense of aggravated theft and ordered that criminal charges be filed against VL.
