Danilovgrad police seized two hunting rifles and ammunition in illegal possession, and filed a criminal complaint against Lj.K. from Danilovgrad on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
This was announced by the Police Directorate, stating that they reacted to a report from DK, who stated that he felt threatened by a family member and that he owned a weapon.
"Taking preventive measures and actions aimed at preventing violence caused by the use of firearms, as well as confiscating weapons in illegal possession of citizens, officers of the Danilovgrad Security Department filed a criminal complaint against one person who was found to be in illegal possession of a firearm," the Police Department said.
They filed a complaint against Lj.K., and during a search of his house and other premises he uses, they found and confiscated weapons and ammunition.
The UP points out that they have informed the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica about the incident.
"On whose orders, a criminal complaint was filed against Lj.K. on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives. Also, police officers filed a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against DK and Lj.K. for committing misdemeanors under Article 36 of the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence," the security institution announced.
