The police conducted a "Raid" operation across the country, checking guests in 18 catering establishments.
As announced by the Police Directorate, six people were arrested, 17 misdemeanor warrants were issued, cocaine and marijuana were seized, and misdemeanor charges were filed against nine people.
Police in Bar conducted raids in four buildings and one slot machine club, where they found and controlled several people, including eight of operational interest - DP, NP, IB, DN, MS, DJ, ML and AM.
"On the same evening, officers of the Ulcinj Security Department, in a separate activity, acting according to the plan to prevent drug abuse, on Mala Plaža, near a music event, as well as in the area of Ada Bojana and the mouth of the Bojana River, checked several persons they found during the aforementioned activities. At BZ (23) and F.Dž. (29), Kosovo citizens, bags of cocaine were found, while they were also found in possession of Kosovo citizens AS (20), DK (20) and SV (47) and citizens of Serbia NR (27) "Packages of marijuana were found. All six persons were arrested, in accordance with the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse, and will be taken to the Minor Offences Court in Ulcinj, while cocaine and marijuana were seized," it was announced.
Officers from the Regional Security Center "Centar" conducted raids in five catering establishments, where 20 people were checked, including two of operational interest.
Officers of the Regional Security Center "North" carried out the "Searcher" operation on the night of May 2nd and 3rd, within which the operational-tactical measure and the "Raid" operation were carried out.
"On that occasion, 164 vehicles and drivers were checked, including five persons of operational interest, 73 drivers and 58 vehicles were examined, 32 drivers were breathalyzed, one person was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, 17 misdemeanor warrants were issued and two misdemeanor reports were filed," the police statement reads.
In Bijelo Polje, one catering facility was inspected and 150 people and 10 vehicles were inspected.
"During the inspection, the face EC (20) handed over a PVC package containing cocaine to police officers. A misdemeanor charge will be filed against this person with the competent misdemeanor court in accordance with the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse.
The police add that officers of the Regional Security Center "West" in the area of their jurisdiction, as part of operational-tactical measures and actions, controlled a total of seven catering facilities and 180 people.
