NM (39) from Podgorica was fined 1.500 euros for belittling a police officer in the Ulcinj town of Štoj, near the guardhouse.
As "Vijesti" has learned, his sentence was imposed today in an urgent procedure before the Minor Offences Court in Budva - Ulcinj Department, by Judge Anka Rašović.
As we learned, a Podgorica resident living in Zagorič last night, 15 minutes after midnight near the guardhouse in Ulcinj, publicly belittled police officer SK, who was trying to identify him.
He told the police officer, "I won't give you my ID card, do you know who I am? I served 12 years in prison. You can't do anything to me even if there are a hundred of you."
The Ulcinj police filed a misdemeanor charge against him, citing a violation of the Public Order and Peace Act.
