The Berane police filed a criminal complaint against Ž.D. (60) from that city, suspected of illegal trade.
As announced by the Police Directorate, a certain quantity of cigarettes without excise stamps and Kosovo excise stamps were found in two kiosks owned by the railway company.
The police announced that Ž.D. (60) is a multiple repeat offender in the field of economic crime.
"On that occasion, 23 cartons of cigarettes of various manufacturers, without excise stamps, and 60 boxes of cigarettes of various manufacturers, with Kosovo excise stamps, were found and temporarily seized at the two aforementioned locations. After conducting a criminal investigation, in coordination with the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane, police officers filed a criminal complaint against Ž.D. on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illicit trade," the police announced.
