Nikšić police officers arrested two minors suspected of the crime of aggravated theft in prolonged duration.
As announced by the Police Directorate, officers of the Nikšić Security Department solved six criminal offenses in the field of property crime.
It is stated that the Nikšić police solved a serious theft of prolonged duration, an attempted robbery, three thefts and one vehicle seizure.
The police, as announced, found some of the stolen items and some of the money and returned them to the owners.
"Officers of the Nikšić Security Department, while taking measures and actions to clarify the reported criminal offenses, identified two minors, aged 15 and 14, who are suspected of having committed the criminal offense of aggravated theft over an extended period of time," the statement said.
It is suspected that they broke into a fast food restaurant in the Rastoci neighborhood on the night between Friday and Saturday, from where they stole money from the market.
"Then, in the city center, they stole money, clothing, perfume, and sunglasses from five vehicles that were unlocked after the search," the police said.
They said that one of the two minors, 15 years old, is also suspected of committing the crime of attempted robbery.
It is suspected that on Monday, at around 45:XNUMX a.m., she attempted to steal money from a billiard club employee using physical force and pepper spray, but failed.
The police said that statements were taken from the two minors, in the presence of their parents, for the record at the police premises.
"The competent state prosecutor for juveniles at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Nikšić qualified the crimes and ordered the arrest of the two individuals and their detention with criminal charges," the statement said.
It is stated that officers of the Nikšić Security Department also solved the crime of theft and identified SB (31), a Serbian citizen residing in Nikšić.
It is suspected that SB stole 5 EUR from the wallet of an injured woman in a gym on March 200th.
"Acting on a report from an injured party, police officers found and seized eight aluminum pipes, each six meters long and 70 mm in diameter, at a waste dump, which were stolen from the damaged property in Rastovac on March 12," the statement said.
Police said their officers identified DT (36), suspected of committing the crime of theft.
The stolen aluminum pipes were, they said, returned to their owner.
It is reported that the police have identified KZ (76) from Nikšić, who is suspected of stealing a wallet containing 2,6 thousand euros and an ID card from her jacket.
As they stated, 625 euros of stolen money was found on her, as well as personal documents, which were returned to the owner.
The police also solved the crime of vehicle theft.
The statement states that on April 2, the injured party reported to the police that an unknown person had taken his vehicle during the night and returned it in front of his house, but that the vehicle was parked elsewhere.
The police said that the injured party reported that he was missing a certain amount of fuel in the tank, that the front right tire on the vehicle was flat, that the wheel cap from that tire was missing, and that the protective plastic under the engine was broken.
Police officers, as announced, took measures and actions within their jurisdiction, which resulted in the identification of a 15-year-old minor from Nikšić.
"Criminal charges have been filed in regular proceedings against four people suspected of three aggravated thefts and vehicle seizure, in consultation with the competent state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić," the statement said.
