Serbian citizens Nemanja Pantelić i Novak Pecanac They were arrested in Budva on suspicion of preparing a liquidation, a source from the Police Directorate told Vijesti unofficially, without specifying what exactly was involved.
However, the institution officially announced that during the operation they found a hidden motorcycle that is suspected of being used in the commission of a serious crime.
They claim that the vehicle was left in the forest in the Markovići settlement, without license plates and with the key left in the lock, and that they determined through checks that the motorcycle was not registered in Montenegro.
Soon, they claim, they found a nineteen-year-old Pećanc in the same area, who had entered the country illegally.
"Police officers determined that NP entered Montenegro illegally, and the subsequent check through NCB Interpol Podgorica determined that NP is registered in police records in the Republic of Serbia as a multiple perpetrator of criminal offenses, namely the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs and the criminal offense of endangering security. The police measures and actions carried out so far indicate the suspicion that NP, with a currently unknown person, drove and hid the said motorcycle at the location in question, namely a forest road sheltered by an unoccupied residential building, and that he removed the license plates from the motorcycle and intentionally left the key in the lock, all so that the motorcycle would be ready for quick and imperceptible start-up," the police text states.
They say that Pećanac deprived of liberty for illegally crossing the state border and that, after the procedures have been carried out, he will be deported from Montenegro:
"The Police will continue their activities to establish all facts regarding his whereabouts and intent to commit a criminal offense," they added.
They state that in the continuation of these activities, also in the Markovići neighborhood, they found another person without documents, who gave the police false information.
They say that the criminal investigation determined that the man in question is 28-year-old Pantelić from Šabac, a multiple repeat offender in the commission of criminal offenses on the territory of Serbia, who has already been charged with aggravated murder, drug trafficking, illegal weapons...
He also entered the country illegally, and the police suspect that he used several apartments in Budva, in which a certain amount of narcotics was found.
Pavlović obstructed police officers
The police announced that as part of the same operation, they also arrested Ilija Pavlović (35), a resident of Budva, who they say is a member of an organized crime group.
