The president of the Civic Movement URA, Dritan Abazović, said that long-time agent of the National Security Agency (ANB) and former police officer Duško Golubović has been recognized for decades "as one of those who were at the head of the criminal pyramid in Montenegro."
He welcomed this morning's action by the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) and the Special Police Department in which Duško Golubović was arrested.
"Despite the influence that Golubović had in the security services, support for the new authorities, contacts with 'uncles', but also the preparation of some dirty affairs in relation to those who selflessly fight for the truth - the hand of justice did not stop. We owe great gratitude for the professional work of the head of the SDT Vladimir Novović, and especially the head of the SPO Predrag Šuković," Abazović wrote on his Facebook account.
He added that he expects the process of proving money laundering to be initiated.
"But also scheme number two, which concerns cigarette smuggling, and there will be surprises there. It is likely that in the coming days and months, much will become clearer about some of the cases that must be resolved if we want to be a truly democratic society. Nothing will be forgotten - just relaxed. The hand of justice does not stop, we are heading towards the super final," said Abazović.
