NL (22) from Podgorica was arrested after the police determined that he had enabled RZ and AG to consume cocaine on the terrace of a restaurant in Budva, the Police Directorate announced.
"Budva police officers conducted a targeted check of five people in a restaurant in that city last night. On this occasion, police officers found a white powdery substance scattered on one of the tables on the terrace of this restaurant where the aforementioned people were staying, suspected to be the narcotic drug cocaine.
"Further activities undertaken within the jurisdiction of the police, it was determined that NL (22) from Podgorica enabled the consumption of this narcotic drug by RZ and AG on the terrace of the catering facility," the police statement said.
It is added that the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the incident and stated that NL's actions constitute the elements of the criminal offense of facilitating the consumption of narcotic drugs, and that this person should be deprived of his liberty.
"In addition, misdemeanor charges will be filed against RZ and AG for consuming narcotics in a public place pursuant to Article 26 of the Law on Public Order and Peace," the police statement concluded.
