A public announcement has been published for the admission of 96 Police Academy students for internships at the Police Directorate, thus continuing the strong strengthening of the Police Directorate's personnel, said Minister of the Interior Danilo Šaranović.
He said that this is just one in a series of concrete steps in a broader reform process that is already yielding measurable results.
"Since the beginning of the mandate of the 44th Government, 49 graduates of the Police Academy have started working at the Police Directorate, and 53 of them have begun their traineeship, which speaks volumes about our determination to systematically rejuvenate and professionalize police personnel," said Šaranović in a statement to the media.
He emphasized that the admission of almost a hundred new trainees is a clear signal that the state is serious about creating a police force based on knowledge, integrity, and readiness to respond to the complex challenges of modern society.
"Our goal is not just to strengthen the system numerically - but to create generations of officers who will lead with integrity, knowledge and dedication as the core values of the police service.
"The management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remains fully committed to further strengthening the capacities of the police - through investments in people, modern equipment and professional standards," concluded Šaranović.
