By the verdict of the judge of the Minor Offences Court in Podgorica, Slavica Jovović, Serbian citizen Goran Tirnanić, residing in Vienna, was fined 1.200 euros for inciting national hatred. The other participant in the incident, Đorđije Cicmil from Budva, who photographed Tirnanić, was questioned as a witness, reports Pobjeda.

As stated in the explanation, Tirnanić is guilty because on May 17 of this year, at around 19:20 p.m., in the town of Belveder, he left a column of cars during a traffic blockade and insulted the gathered citizens - family members and friends of those killed in the two massacres in Cetinje, based on their ethnicity, by standing in front of them and posing with three fingers raised, while Cicmil took a photo of him.

This behavior caused strong outrage among the gathered citizens.

Judge Slavica Jovović believes that the defendant's showing of three fingers, which in itself is not an offensive act in the context of another event, in this specific case and at the protest site, at Belvedere, where citizens protesting the tragic events that took place in Cetinje and their experience - that the entire event and their protest was understood in a different way, is an act that offended the citizens protesting, which they demonstrated with their reactions.

Tirnanić said in his defense that he had no intention of offending anyone, and that he was not aware of the reasons for the protest.
