MB (20) from Bijelo Polje was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotics, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"He was noticed by police officers at a children's playground, dropping several small PVC packages from under the bench he was sitting on. On this occasion, he was checked and it was determined that the substance in question was suspected to be the narcotic drug marijuana, intended for further sale," the statement said.
The UP added that MB will be brought before the acting prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje for further jurisdiction within the legal deadline.
