The Bijelo Polje police filed a criminal complaint against RD (22) from that city, on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - forgery of a document.
The police, while conducting a targeted control, stopped and checked a truck with Bijelo Polje license plates, driven by RD.
"By checking through the appropriate applications, police officers determined that the aforementioned license plates did not belong to the vehicle that was the subject of the control, but to another freight motor vehicle whose license validity date had expired. In the cargo compartment of the stopped freight vehicle, police officers found stone material that was handed over to Customs Administration officers for the purpose of taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction," the Police Administration announced.
The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje stated that RD's actions constitute elements of the aforementioned criminal offense, so criminal charges were filed against him in regular proceedings.
