Budva resident MB (37) was sentenced to 15 days in prison for driving under the influence of cocaine, the Budva Misdemeanor Court announced.
The president of that court, Marko Đukanović, said that MB was caught driving a vehicle under the influence of cocaine on Wednesday.
He added that Albanian citizen D.Sh (35) was sentenced to 20 days in prison because he drove a vehicle in the municipality of Ulcinj on Thursday under the influence of 3,09 per mille of alcohol in his body.
"The judges on duty also imposed a four-month driving ban on both defendants on the territory of Montenegro," the statement said.
It is stated that D.Sh, as a foreign citizen, was immediately taken to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions in Spuž due to the risk of thwarting the execution of his prison sentence.
