KV (39) from Nikšić was arrested on suspicion of breaking into two catering establishments and stealing a large quantity of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages worth over 1.000 euros between April and May this year, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement added that the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić ordered him to be detained for 72 hours.
"Members of the Nikšić Security Department identified and detained KV (39) from Nikšić, on suspicion of committing the crime of aggravated theft in an extended period, in the period from April to May 2025, in the late evening hours, he repeatedly broke into two catering establishments, during which he stole a large quantity of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages worth over 1.000 euros from the premises. After being questioned by the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, KV was ordered to be detained for 72 hours," the UP statement reads.
