Officers of the Podgorica Security Department have arrested three people, two of whom are minors, on suspicion of committing the crime of aggravated theft. As announced by the Police Directorate, V.Č. (21) and two sixteen-year-olds from Podgorica were arrested, who are suspected of breaking into a retail store around midnight last night and stealing a cash register containing 100 euros.

It is stated that, following a report of a break-in, police officers took coordinated measures and actions that very quickly led to the identification and location of the suspects in an apartment in Podgorica.

According to the police, a cash register and money were found in the apartment, while a PVC package containing a white powdery substance resembling cocaine was also found in the possession of one of the minors.

"The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed about everything, who qualified the crime as a criminal offense and ordered that these three persons be deprived of their liberty and that they be brought to his jurisdiction, along with a criminal report," the statement said.
