Danilov citizen Mirko Andrijašević (28) by order of the High Court, an “Audi A7” and 3.550 euros were temporarily seized, on suspicion that he had acquired the vehicle and money through drug smuggling.
At the request of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), this decision was made at the beginning of the month by the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Goran Scepanovic.
"Because there is a reasonable suspicion that the said property was acquired through criminal activity and there is a danger that the confiscation of that property gain will be prevented or made more difficult," reads the decision of the High Court, which "Vijesti" had access to.
Andrijašević was arrested in August last year, in an operation by the Danilovgrad police, during which four packages "containing a white substance in a solid state similar to the narcotic drug cocaine, weighing a total of about two kilograms" were seized from him.
The Police Department then officially announced that they had seized from Andrijašević a "Glock" pistol with milled factory numbers, with a frame and 13 bullets, a spare pistol frame, eight rounds of pistol ammunition of unknown caliber, a device and materials used for packaging drugs, as well as two scales for precise measurement.
"Also, money in the amount of 3.550 euros was found, which is suspected to come from the sale of narcotics," the UP said at the time.
After Andrijašević's arrest, "Vijesti" was unofficially told that the Danilovgrad resident was allegedly close to the Kavača criminal clan and that the cocaine was ready for street sale in the territory of Podgorica, Nikšić and Danilograd.
Shortly after his arrest, he escaped from the police station, but was found in Piperi, where he was arrested.
The search for him, as the police said on August 17 last year, involved officers from the Podgorica Police Department, the Crime Prevention Sector, the Border Police Sector, and the Special Purpose Police Sector, as well as the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"On that occasion, after an operation lasting several hours in the town of Piperi, near an elementary school, the police located and arrested MA, who was being provided with logistics by his brother DA," they explained at the time.
