This, as follows from the order to conduct the investigation, was most often organized by one of Stanaj's associates, Abedin Pepić, Ali and Sanderov's brother Nuo Stop, as well as from Podgorica Dejan Milic.
According to the prosecution's files, they delivered smuggled cigarettes to locations that Sander Stanaj would arrange with the buyers, whose couriers would eventually take over the vehicles with the tobacco products.
The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) suspects Golubović, who was handcuffed by officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) on May 9, and Sander Stanaj, who is on the run, of being the leaders of a criminal group that damaged the state by at least 18.260.352 euros through cigarette smuggling.
On suspicion that they were part of their criminal group, SPO officers arrested the director of the company "Plus" at the beginning of the week, on the orders of the SDT. Prokopija Perić, Milić, Radoje Dakić, Mile Simanić, Adnan Suković, Ivan Turčinović and the owner of the company “MP ŠPED TRANS”, Dear Madžgalj.
After being questioned by the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Madžgalj, Milić, Dakić and Turčinović were released to house arrest, and the judge sent Perić, Simanić and Suković to the pre-trial detention center.
They, like the fugitives Sandera and Nua Stanaj, Andrija Petanović, Abedin Pepić, Vukot Vujošević, Veton Berishaj, Đok Lješković and former secret agent Duško Golubović, who is in custody, is suspected by the SDT of creating a criminal organization and the continued criminal offense of cigarette smuggling.
