After completing the investigation, the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje submitted an indictment against Alija Balijagić (64) to the High Court in that city for the criminal offense of aggravated murder in conjunction with the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
Balijagić previously admitted during a hearing at the prosecution that on October 25th last year, in Sokolac, he killed his brother and sister Jovan (60) and Milenko Madžgalj (69) with a hunting rifle in their home.
"The subject of the indictment is that the defendant AB, on October 25.10.2024, 21.10, at around XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. in the town of S, Bijelo Polje municipality, deprived the victims JM and MM of their lives in their family home, by firing one projectile from a firearm - a hunting rifle - in the direction of the victim JM and two projectiles in the direction of the victim MM from the living room window, through an opening made of previously broken glass, while the victims were watching television and did not expect an attack on themselves, causing injuries that resulted in the victims' death, after which he entered the victims' house where he ransacked it, left it and fled," the prosecution announced.
