Podgorica resident Veselin Mujović claims that former member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit Brajuško Brajušković proposed in 2013 that 600 thousand euros be demanded from the former director of the Police Administration Veselin Veljović, so that "Brajušković would not report Veljović's alleged misdeeds."

Mujović stated this in a response submitted to the "Vijesti" portal, after Brajušković's testimony before the parliamentary Inquiry Committee.

Mujović said that he was ready to clarify all the allegations from the response before the Inquiry Committee and to substantiate them with material evidence.

We are reporting Mujović's reaction in full:

"Following today's session of the Inquiry Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro and the statement of Mr. Brajušković, he mentioned my name and made a false statement. I do not know nor am I aware of whether there were black threes or not. Under material and criminal liability, I claim:

- that criminal charges for blackmail and racketeering were filed against Brajušković by Veselin Veljović.

- the aforementioned Brajušković and Vaso Mijovic and two other people, with my presence at the 'Perjanik' hotel, proposed that Brajušković demand 600 thousand euros from Veselin Veljović so that Brajušković would not report Veljović's alleged misdeeds.

- I was asked to talk to Veljovic and deliver a message to him, which I did.

- Veljović listened to me and asked if I agreed to him reporting all of this and I gave an affirmative answer.

- I gave a statement about all the events before the main prosecutor Čađenović.

- I would like to note that Brajušković, with the support of one of those present, decided to publish everything about the black threes, but first to find out some dates so as not to make mistakes in the dates and events.

- after Veljović refused to give the requested money, Brajuškovic decided to spend a few days making an agreement... gathering information and reporting it all. This all happened in 2013. All of this is available with the basic prosecutor in my statement.

I would especially like to point out that it is quite symptomatic and very dangerous that at those meetings they mentioned that they were sorry that the assassination attempt on Mr. Milo Đukanović did not succeed, where one of the people present at the table was involved in organizing the assassination attempt.

I gave a statement to the special prosecutor about all of these circumstances. Those are just some of the details.

Brajušković personally told the story of whom he had beaten at the table.

I would like to point out that I am not on good terms with Veselin Veljović and I have a negative attitude towards him.

"I am ready to explain all of the above before the Inquiry Committee, supported by material evidence," Mujović wrote.
