Former police special agent and former head of the Danilovgrad Security Department, Marko Kalezić, announced that he categorically denies the accusations made by his former colleague, Brajuško Brajušković, at a session of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee - that he participated in the beating of political dissenters.
Kalezić's reaction is reported in full by Vijesti.
"In relation to today's statement by Brajuško Brajušković before the Inquiry Committee, regarding the claims that I, Marko Kalezić, participated in the alleged beating of political dissenters, I categorically deny all his allegations and, under full criminal and material responsibility, deny my participation in the so-called black threes or any other groups that allegedly engaged in such activities.
The main reason for Brajuško Brajušković mentioning my name lies in his desire for revenge, due to the prosecution of him at the time when I was the manager of the Danilovgrad Military Police Station. Namely, Brajušković was serving a prison sentence for causing bodily harm to his close relative with the use of a firearm 'upon his report'.
I responsibly claim that I have never had a drink with the above-mentioned person in my life, let alone taken money from him or anyone else or done anything dishonest. Such a statement should serve his honor, which he lost a long time ago, all his claims about me are untrue. They are prepared in advance, tendentious and premeditated.
Namely, after serving his prison sentence, during 2020, Brajuško Brajušković suddenly lashed out at me, stating untruths in certain TV shows, while forgetting the fact that he had never mentioned my name in the media in that context before, which again indicates that this person had come up with an untrue story in advance, in order to harm me and my family. Any further entry into media squabbles with this well-known person would damage my reputation, so I am concluding the polemic with this address," Kalezić wrote.
