Police officers from Bijelo Polje and Rožaje have committed several criminal offenses, for which they arrested one person and filed criminal charges against three, the Police Directorate announced.
As reported, police officers in Bijelo Polje filed a criminal complaint against Dž.Ć. with the competent state prosecutor's office on suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of abuse of position in business operations.
"As an employee of a legal entity, during the past and present year, she issued fiscal invoices contrary to the prescribed procedure, and without showing income from the sale of items, she kept money, thereby obtaining unlawful material gain," the statement says.
The police said that officers from the Bijelo Polje Security Department have also filed a criminal complaint against VK, who is suspected of forest theft.
He is suspected of cutting down beech trees in a private forest owned by another person, in the Čokrlije administrative district in the municipality of Bijelo Polje, and thereby causing damage to the state budget.
The police said that their officers in Rožaje arrested a displaced person residing in Berane, ZD, on suspicion of stealing a wallet from the bag of an employee of the Rožaje Health Center.
