During a search of the apartment and other premises used by the JV, police found four rifles and 213 rounds of ammunition for them. In addition, a gas pistol with 10 rounds of ammunition was found, the Police Directorate announced.
The police said that in continuation of the activities that are carried out as a priority within national areas with the aim of preventing violence and misuse of firearms, which are often misused to commit serious crimes, officers of the Cetinje Security Department initiated and obtained an order from the Basic Court in Cetinje to carry out the aforementioned searches.
The weapons and ammunition were permanently confiscated by decision of the Civil Status and Personal Documents Branch, the statement added.
The Police Directorate said that their officers will continue to intensively carry out activities to combat the misuse of firearms and prevent the commission of criminal offenses related to them.
