The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica submitted an indictment against I.Š. to the Podgorica Basic Court, due to reasonable suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of infanticide during childbirth.
I.Š. was arrested in February on suspicion of committing the crime of infanticide, the murder of a child during childbirth, after the lifeless body of a newborn was found in Podgorica's Block 9.
"The Podgorica District Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment with the Basic Court in Podgorica against the defendant I.Š., due to reasonable suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of infanticide during childbirth," the Podgorica District Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
